Cold, wet weather canceled several holiday events this weekend but not the tree lighting at Klyde Warren Park.
A few hundred people showed up Saturday afternoon for a festival, tree lighting and fireworks show.
Organizers insisted the show go on rain or shine but it was abbreviated because of the weather.
"We thought about canceling because of the weather earlier in the week but then we're like, you know, wet weather can't stop Christmas, right?" said Stephen Dahlem, Creative Director for Corporate Magic.
