Arlington Teen Wounded in Overnight Shooting: Police

Arlington police said a teenage male was wounded in a shooting at a home late Wednesday night.

Police described the scene as "chaotic" when they arrived at the home on McQueary Street just after 11:30 p.m. They said several people were outside and on edge as EMTs loaded the victim, who is in his late teens, into an ambulance.

Crime scene investigators set nearly two dozen markers on the road indicating where they'd found shell casings.

The victim's name has not been released. His condition Thursday morning was unknown.

Investigators said they were still trying to piece together what led to the shooting. No arrests have been made.

Detectives are currently interviewing potential witnesses.
