The cold front that moved through North Texas Thursday is part of a larger storm system located over the Central United States. This system is responsible for strong winds from Canada into Texas. Since it won’t move much through Friday, the windy weather will continue. A Wind Advisory will be in effect Friday for northwest winds gusting over 40 mph.
