NASA to conduct experiments during total solar eclipse

Plenty of scientists will be focused on the sky April 8 for the total solar eclipse using the configuration of the moon for a unique opportunity to study the sun. NASA will send two specially-outfitted planes into the stratosphere — with instruments on-board for 5 different experiments.
