TMSG: Buffalo Soldiers Honored at Fort Worth Church

New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth began a new tradition to honor Buffalo Soldiers every Sunday. July 28 is Buffalo Soldiers Day, proclaimed by former President George H.W. Bush. The legendary heroes were all-black Army units who often received the worst food and equipment, and served without respect and recognition, Bush said. Their achievements opened doors for decades to come.
