Lewisville Eight Grader Makes 2nd Trip to Scripps National Spelling Bee

Sonika Harish, a 14-year-old eighth grader at Marshall Durham Middle School in Lewisville, is at the Scripps National Spelling Bee for the second straight year. She is also active in theater, in which she was awarded “Best Actress” in the UIL’s Junior High One Act Play competition in 2017.
