Weekend Traffic Outlook: Fair Park, I-35E Closures

There are several construction closures this weekend across North Texas. In Dallas the new Interstate 30 eastbound ramp connecting to Interstate 35E northbound will open Saturday morning. I-35E northbound between Royal Lane and Interstate 635 LBJ Freeway will close from midnight until 6 a.m. Saturday. Fort Worth drivers will see a continuation of the nightly closure of Texas 121 through the weekend. The closure is for bridge repairs and runs through November. In Denton the new I-35E southbound ramp to Loop 288 will open Sunday at 6 a.m. The State Fair of Texas starts Friday. To avoid any traffic or parking fees you can use DART and take the Green Line to Fair Park.
