Man accused in murder-for-hire plot takes the stand in his own defense

The man accused of shooting and killing an American Airlines executive in a murder-for-hire plot took the stand in his own defense on Thursday. Darrin Lopez hasn’t denied he fired the gun that killed the husband of a woman he was having an affair with. Instead, he claims he was duped into thinking she needed to be saved.
