The NCAA announced the College World Series schedule Monday night and TCU draws Florida in their first game.
No. 6 seed TCU advanced to the tournament in Omaha after winning the Fort Worth regional and beating Missouri State in the super regional. They'll face No. 3 seed Florida Sunday at at TD Ameritrade Park.
No. 1 national seed Oregon State (54-4) and their 21-game win streak will play No. 8 seed Cal State Fullerton (39-22) in the tournament opener Saturday. Later that night, No. 4 seed LSU (48-17) plays No. 5 seed Florida State (45-21).
Before TCU's game Sunday night, No. 7 seed Louisville (52-10) plays No. 2 seed Texas A&M (41-21) in the afternoon.
Five of the eight national seeds reached the CWS: Oregon State, Florida, LSU, TCU and Louisville. The previous time so many national seeds made it to Omaha was 2011, when six advanced.
The Southeastern Conference has three teams in the CWS for the second time in three years.
