All Eight Arlington Mayoral Hopefuls to Participate in Candidate Forum Thursday

Early voting for the Arlington local election will begin on April 19

On April 1, Arlington voters will get a chance to hear from the candidates hoping to replace outgoing mayor Jeff Williams who is leaving the office due to term limits.

Eight candidates have signed up and each will participate in a candidate forum this Thursday at Grounds & Gold coffee.

All eight candidates: Jerry Warden, Marvin Sutton, Cirilo Ocampo Jr., Dewayne T. Washington, Jim Ross, Doni Anthony, Michael Glaspie, and Kelly R. Burke have confirmed that they will participate.

The forum begins at 4 p.m. and Arlington voters will be able to not only watch live on Facebook but ask questions of the candidates as well.

The event will take place at 4130 S. Bowen Road at 4 p.m. and will be available via Facebook Live on The Deeds Group at RE/MAX Facebook page.

Election Day is May 1. The last day to register to vote in the election is April 1. Early voting begins on April 19.
