Community Conversation: Child Abuse & Neglect on the Rise During the Pandemic

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Dallas and Tarrant Counties have among the highest cases of child abuse and neglect in the state. Stressors related to the pandemic and job losses have added to the problem. NBC 5’s Kristi Nelson spoke with Brenda Barnes-Tucker, the foster care and adoption supervisor for ACH Child and Family Services in Fort Worth about the effect on North Texas children.
