AUSTIN — The law office of Texas state Sen. Carlos Uresti, D-San Antonio, was raided by FBI and IRS agents early Thursday morning. "I can confirm the FBI and IRS are lawfully present and conducting a lawful law enforcement activity," FBI spokeswoman Michelle Lee told the San Antonio Express-News. She added that Uresti had not been arrested.The agents, who arrived Thursday before 8 a.m., were reportedly collecting documents and other unnamed items from the Uresti Law Firm offices.Sources told the Express-News that the senator hadn't been on-site since the raid began, but that his son, Carlos Uresti Jr., had been there.
