A 19-year-old man with a gunshot wound died after crashing into a parked pickup truck Sunday night near the border of Dallas and University Park. Jose Cruz crashed into the truck around 10:32 p.m. in the 2100 block of Amherst Avenue. Responding officers realized Cruz had been shot before the crash.
