The weather pattern remains quiet, with hot and humid conditions persisting across North Texas. Sunshine will rule again today with afternoon temperatures climbing into the low 90s. The heat index by Sunday afternoon could reach the mid to upper-90s.
The hot and uncomfortable weather will continue into the first part of next week. Heat index values will approach 100 by Tuesday afternoon.
Our next chance of showers and storms arrives Wednesday and Thursday, along with a slight drop in temperatures as a cold front stalls across the area.
The Memorial Day weekend outlook calls for above normal temperatures with many dry hours each day.
