Report: Kevin Ogletree's Brother Shot In NYC

Calvin Ogletree, 25, is in critical condition following the attack this weekend

Calvin Ogletree, the 25-year-old older brother of Cowboys receiver Kevin Ogletree, is reportedly clinging to life in a New York hospital following an assault this weekend that in which the elder Ogletree shot in the head by an unknown assailant.

According to the account in the New York Daily News, Calvin Ogletree was reportedly standing in front of his luxury auto rental company in the Queens Borough of New York City (where he and his brother were raised) last Friday when two men approached him at about 3 PM. After an argument, one of the men shot Ogletree, and both fled on bicycles. As of now, both suspects remain at large.

“I heard one or two pops,” said a man who works near Ogletree’s business. “I didn’t know if it was gunshots. Then I saw some excitement. I got a streak of fear. I saw a bunch of people running and screaming.”

According to police, a dispute over money was at the heart of the altercation. Calvin Ogletree, meanwhile, remains in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital.
