Texas StormRanger Shows Storm Before NEXRAD

Chief Meteorologist David Finfrock and Meteorologist Rick Mitchell show off the capabilities of Texas StormRanger, our new portable radar truck that offers radar images faster and with a higher degree of accuracy and detail than what’s been offered before. In this example, NBC 5’s Texas StormRanger shows storm cells developing over Lake Grapevine minutes before they’re picked up by NEXRAD radar.
