NBC 5 Forecast: Hot for Now, But Changes Next Week

Friday will remain hot and muggy with highs in the mid to upper 90s and an afternoon heat index of 102 to 105. At least there will be a gusty south breeze to help take the edge of the heat. Saturday will remain dry and very warm with highs in the mid 90s. Much of Sunday will be dry as well, but a cold front will move into Northwest Texas perhaps triggering a few late day showers and storms.
