Abbott Announces Hurricane Preparedness Plan Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said the time is now to begin preparations for what is forecast to be a very heavy rain event due to Tropical Storm Cristobal. Should evacuations be necessary, Abbott said the ongoing pandemic creates certain challenges that local leaders must start preparing for now.
