NBC 5 Forecast: Severe Storm Threat

Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon and evening, and unfortunately, bring a risk of severe weather. Storms that develop will be capable of producing damaging winds, very large hail and even a few tornadoes. The greatest threat for Dallas-Fort Worth will be between 8 p.m. and midnight. The storms will gradually develop into more of a squall line after sundown, with the threat for straight-line winds increasing, and the threat for large hail and tornadoes decreasing.
