Kaufman County issues disaster declaration ahead of April 8 solar eclipse

We’re expecting a big show as parts of North Texas will be in the path of a totality during the solar eclipse on April 8. People from around the area and well beyond are coming here to watch. NBC 5’s Alicia Barrera reports Kaufman County leaders are so concerned about crowds, a disaster declaration will be in place.
