Opal Lee Honored With 94th Birthday Parade

She’s known for her walking, but on Saturday, Opal Lee got a chance to sit and see a parade in her honor. A caravan of cars passed by to wish her a happy 94th birthday. Lee has walked to Washington, D.C. in the past all in an effort to get Juneteenth recognized as a national holiday.
