Sunday Schooled

Top Five QBs:

1. Aaron Rodgers - 313 Yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT - Rodgers played through shoulder pain in a gutsy
performance, matching his season high for touchdowns in a game.
2. Ben Roethlisberger - 309 Yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT - What was all that talk about Big Ben over-dramatizing his injuries? Roethlisberger showed how tough he was Sunday night by hanging in the pocket and making all the tough throws.
3. Kyle Orton - 334 Yds, 2 TDs - Apparently Detroit's pass D can even make Orton look good.
4. Kurt Warner - 250 Yds, 2 TDs - No, you're not dreaming; Kurt Warner actually had a game in which he didn't turn the ball over.
5. Eli Manning - Plaxico who? Eli showed he can still get the job done without his star wideout.

Top Five RBs:

1. DeAngelo Williams - 123 Rush Yds, 25 Rec Yds, 3 total TDs - So much for Stewart stealing some of D-Will's carries. This just further adds to confusion in Carolina's backfield.
2. Brandon Jacobs - 136 Rush Yds, 9 Rec Yds, 2 TDs - Jacobs ran all over Seattle's D, looking like an immovable object (aka Juggernaut) in the process.
3. Clinton Portis - 145 Rush Yds, 13 Rec Yds, 1 TD - Philly's D came into the game allowing just 54 YPG, but CP had no problems making Jim Johnson's heavy blitzing scheme pay.
4. Steve Slaton - 93 Rush Yds, 3 Rec Yds, 2 TDs - A pair of 1-yard scores added to Slaton's surprising rookie campaign.
5. Ronnie Brown - 125 Rush Yds, 8 Rec Yds, 1 TD - Why deviate from the direct snap to Brown when it seems to work every single time?

Top Five WRs:

1. T.J. Houshmandzadeh - 7 Rec, 85 Yds, 2 TDs - It's encouraging to see Housh and Palmer back on the same page.
2. Roddy White - 8 Rec, 132 Yds, 1 TD - White is quickly becoming Matt Ryan's go-to guy, as he has hauled in 16 receptions in his last 3 games.
3. Andre Johnson - 9 Rec, 131 Yds, 1 TD - AJ owners can finally let out a sigh of relief, as this is the kind of game they have been waiting for.
4. Lee Evans - 2 Rec, 100 Yds, 1 TD - Evans saved what could have been a terrible day by hauling in an 87-yard score, but it's his big-play potential on every play that makes him a viable fantasy receiver.
5. Larry Fitzgerald - 7 Rec, 52 Yds, 2 TDs - After hauling in a pair of 2-yard scores, Fitz showed he's capable of scoring from anywhere on the field.

Top Five TEs:

1. Chris Cooley - 8 Rec, 109 Yds, 1 TD - It took a pass from Randle-El for Cooley to notch his first TD of the season, but you won't hear any complaints from Cooley owners.
2. Jason Witten - 8 Rec, 79 Yds, 1 TD - Witten has become the model of consistency from the TE position, and Sunday was no exception.
3. Heath Miller - 5 Rec, 45 Yds, 1 TD - Miller made a nice diving catch for his first touchdown of the season, as the Pittsburgh offense showed signs of coming to life.
4. Donald Lee - 4 Rec, 25 Yds, 1 TD - Lee owners have come to adopt a hit-or-miss approach, and while he didn't dazzle in the yardage department, a TD always makes a mediocre day look a lot better.
5. Greg Olsen - 3 Rec, 87 Yds - Olsen showed a nice downfield capability, as he hauled in a 52-yard pass from Orton late in the 1st quarter.

2. Joe Flacco - 153 Yds, 0 TDs, 2 INTs

5. Sage Rosenfels - 246 Yds, 1 TD, 1 INT, 2 FL
