Lowe was acquired from Seattle in the July 9 trade involving Cliff Lee.  He was on the disabled list at the time of the trade, and did not pitch for Texas until the regular season’s final week, as he had just three appearances for the Rangers this year.  Lowe will be looking to make his postseason debut, as he was not on the roster for either of the first two rounds in this postseason.
