With the conclusion of the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins’ duel Sunday night in Beantown, the NHL was finally able to release their playoff schedule for the first round. The Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild will open their series at the United Center at 7 p.m. Tuesday with the game being broadcast nationally on the NBC Sports Network and locally in the Chicago area on Comcast SportsNet.
Already the Hawks had a conflict with the Bulls that had to be addressed, hence why Game 2 is Friday instead of Thursday. Also, Games 6 and 7 of this series will be played on back-to-back days in order to allow NBC to air either game if it so chooses.
Here is the entire schedule for the first round series:
Game 1: Minnesota at Chicago, 7 p.m. Tuesday NBCSN
Game 2: Minnesota at Chicago, 8:30 p.m. Friday NBCSN
Game 3: Chicago at Minnesota, 2 p.m. Sunday NBC
