Michigan St. RB Le'Veon Bell: Cowboys Among Teams Interested

Bell says Dallas is one of a handful of teams that have expressed serious interest in his services

It seems doubtful that Michigan State running back Le’Veon Bell will be on the board when the Dallas Cowboys select with the 18th overall pick in this month’s NFL Draft. It also seems doubtful that Dallas would target a running back in the first round, with clear needs at offensive line and safety.

But Bell said recently that the Cowboys are one of the teams who have expressed the most interest in his services leading up to the draft, the others being the Chargers, Colts, Broncos and Steelers.

Adding to our doubt as to whether this is a realistic pairing, Bell said recently that he could see himself being the first running back selected--and what’s more, he might be right.

“I feel like I’m the most balanced because I bring so much to the team,” Bell told FOX Sports Daybreak on Thursday, via ProFootballTalk.com.  “I can play in the game on first and 10, I can play in the game on third and 10, I can play in the game on third and one.”
