Mavericks Missing from Best Selling NBA Jerseys List

Last year Dirk Nowitzki's jersey was the 8th best selling NBA jersey and the Dallas Mavericks ranked 10th in team jersey sales, this year both failed to make the cut.

No surprise Kobe Bryant's No. 24 jersey and the Lakers team jerseys were the best sellers.

Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers' 11-time All-Star, regained the top spot on the NBA's list, bumping 2008 No. 1 Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics to second.

Despite an overall poor economy, since the start of the season, NBA officials said jersey sales are up 40 percent.

According to a league press release, December was the best sales month in history for both the NBA Store and NBAStore.com, with combined sales up 10 percent over the same time period last year.
