FC Dallas has announced the signing of 2017 MLS SuperDraft pick Walker Hume.
The second-round pick scored 20 goals and had 10 assists over his collegiate career that started at Division II Rollins College and ended at North Carolina, where he spent his final two seasons.
The 23-year-old scored the game-winning goal against River Plate Reserves earlier in the month.
Hume was born in Dallas and attended Austin Westlake High School.
His grandfather, Tom Franckhauser, played for the Dallas Cowboys' inaugural team in 1960.
