After a half of football in New Orleans, the Dallas Cowboys lead the Saints, 10-7.
Sprung by a couple of big runs, Brandon Weeden led the Cowboys 74 yards down the field on their opening drive, but they ultimately stalled and gave way to Dan Bailey, who knocked a 30-yard field goal through the uprights to give Dallas a 3-0 lead.
The Saints answered immediately with an 11-play, 80-yard drive capped by a three-yard touchdown pass from Brees to Josh Hill to take the lead, at 7-3.
The Cowboys then took the kickoff and marched 80 yards on 10 plays, with Joseph Randle going over the top for a one-yard touchdown run--a play that was called a fumble at first, but a touchdown upon further review. The touchdown gave the Cowboys a 10-7 lead, which stands as the tally at halftime.
Weeden is 8-of-12 passing on the evening for 66 yards.
Lance Dunbar has 54 yards on three carries, Joseph Randle has 25 and a touchdown on seven carries, and Darren McFadden has five on four carries.
On the other side, Drew Brees is 17-of-20 passing for 115 yards and a touchdown. Mark Ingram has 26 yards on four carries.
The Cowboys will receive the kick to open the second half.
