Adrian Beltre on Prince Fielder's Press Conference

Rangers designated hitter Prince Fielder announced the end of his baseball career Wednesday at a press conference at Globe Life Park in Arlington in front of his family and his teammates. He finishes his career with 319 home runs, the same as his father Cecil, 1,028 RBI’s, and was named an all-star 6 times. But the thing that Fielder is most proud of is being the father to his two sons Jadyn and Haven. The two are regulars at the ballpark just like Fielder was with his father Cecil. Fielder says he can handle the task of not playing but hurts because he knows how it will make his sons feel. His teammates say that Fielder is a great father who put his family first and baseball second.
