Abilene is Latest City to Arrest Q-Car

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Quincy Carter has been arrested again.

Carter, who is now a member of the Abilene Ruff Riders of the Indoor Football League, was arrested Sunday night in Abilene on a warrant out of Dallas County for violation of probation, reports KRBC-TV in Abilene.

Cater, 31, was last in police custody in February when he was arrested in Mission on charges of drunken driving and possession of marijuana.

In an interview with KRBC last March, Carter made no promises about his future behavior and said he is simply taking things one day at a time.

The marijuana possession charge from February was the third for Carter since 2006, when he was first arrested in Irving. He was arrested a year later in Shreveport, La.

Since leaving the Cowboys, Carter has had stints with the NFL New York Jets, the AFL Kansas City Brigade, the AFL2's Shreveport Battle Wings and now Abilene.
