White House Defends Trump Coronavirus Slur

After President Trump used the slur “Kung Flu” to describe the coronavirus at a campaign rally on Saturday, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany denied there being any racism behind the expression, saying, “What the president does do is point out that the origin of the virus is China. It’s a fair thing to point out.”
