Mom Fighting Cancer Gives Birth to ‘Miracle' Quadruplets

Kayla Gaytan has Hodgkin's lymphoma

A mother who’s beat cancer but had it return gave birth to quadruplets in what she says is a "miracle," TODAY.com reported.

Kayla Gaytan was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma just six days shy of her 29th birthday and a week after her wedding. She’d already had two children with her husband Charles, a soldier stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, when she started experiencing symptoms.

She went into remission and soon found out that she was expecting spontaneous quadruplets, conceived without the help of fertility drugs or medical intervention. When the cancer came back, Gaytan had a C-section, delivering the babies on Dec. 30.
