Trump to Defer to Mattis on Torture

In a joint press conference with U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May, U.S. President Donald Trump said he will defer to new Defense Secretary James Mattis on the country’s stance on torture, saying he will not force the Department of Defense to comply with Trump’s personal stance on the subject.
