Strangers Form Human Chain in Beach Rescue

When a family was pushed farther from shore in a strong rip current, dozens of beachgoers linked arms to form a human chain and save them. Jessica Simmons was one of the people who helped the family get out of the water at Florida’s Panama City Beach. She said the idea for a human chain came about as people were trying to figure out how to reach the family.
