Backseat Live: Homeboy Sandman

Ever since Homeboy Sandman (née Angel Del Villar) dropped out of law school to become a rapper, the Ivy League educated emcee’s been hustling. The Feast caught up with the prolific rhymesman and his producer, Peter “Chosenberg” Rosenberg, outside of Hot 97 studios in lower Manhattan for the latest installment of Backseat Live. Folding his 6’5″ frame into the back of our cab, the always amicable Boy Sand performed one of our favorite tracks of 2010, “72 Bars for Chosenberg.”
