Here are five tips to help you choose the right sunscreen:
- Use a broad spectrum sunscreen with protection from ultraviolet rays A and B.
- Use SPF 30 or higher.
- Make sure your sunscreen is waterproof or water resistant.
- Apply sunscreen even if your makeup, moisturizer or other products have sunscreen in them.
- Having darker skin may make you less susceptible to sunburn, but you’re still at risk for skin cancer.
