11 People Injured in Crash Involving Limousine in Santa Clarita

Eleven adults were injured, five critically, when a stretch limousine crashed with two others cars in northern Los Angeles County on Saturday night, officials said.

The crash happened about 9 p.m. in Santa Clarita near the 5 Freeway and Newhall Ranch Road, just north of Six Flags Magic Mountain, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The white Chrysler limo, carrying nine people, was exiting the 5 Freeway when it crashed with a Kia and a Honda, deputies said. Aerial footage captured by NewsChopper4 showed front-end damage to the limo.

The limo's destination was not immediately known.

The cause of the crash was being investigated.
