Wrecks Shut Down U.S. 75 in Dallas: Police

Two wrecks shut down northbound U.S. 75 for several hours Friday morning because of two wrecks near Caruth Haven Lane.

One person was injured in the second of two wrecks that shut down U.S. 75 in Dallas for several hours early Friday morning, according to police.[[303862851,C]]

Dallas police said the victim was looking at damage from the first wreck on northbound U.S. 75 at Caruth Haven Lane just before 2 a.m. when a vehicle struck them.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Police reopened two right lanes at about 4:30 a.m. They opened the other three lanes just before 6 a.m.
