A woman is hospitalized after she says she was shot by her ex-boyfriend as she and a friend drove away from a Dallas club early Monday morning.
According to police, the women, ages 23 and 24, said they'd left a club and were headed southbound on North Stemmons Freeway near Commerce Street at about 4:20 a.m. when someone began shooting into their vehicle.
One woman was shot in the shoulder while the other woman was uninjured, police said.
The women told police the gunman was the injured woman's ex-boyfriend and that he drove away after firing several shots.
Police said the man's identity is known and that he is currently at large.
