A woman has been hit by an 18-wheeler while trying to cross Interstate 30 in Garland, police say.[[372991971,C]]
It happened at about 2:45 p.m. Monday near the Belt Line Road exit.
The westbound lanes of I-30 were closed for an hour due to the crash, but are now reopened.
The woman was transported to Baylor Medical Center Dallas, where she is in critical condition.
