Utility Pole Snapped, Power Lines on the Ground in Fort Worth

The top part of a utility pole has been snapped off, possibly by powerful wind gusts in east Fort Worth. Power lines are now on the ground in the area off Interstate 30 and Cooks Lane.

Interstate 30 was closed in both directions in East Fort Worth due to downed power lines Thursday, police say.

The top part of a utility pole was snapped off, possibly by powerful wind gusts, causing power lines to fall to the ground on Cooks Lane, right off of I-30.

No injuries were reported.
