University of Texas Arlington showed off snakes and other reptiles on Saturday

NBC 5’s Chris Van Horne talked with Carl Franklin of DFW Herpetological Society about UTA Reptile & Amphibian Day on October 13.

UTA had lots of extra students and study subjects on Saturday.

The University of Texas at Arlington presebted its Reptile & Amphibian Day on Saturday, October 13.  It took place at the E.H. Hereford University Center, 300 W. First Street in Arlington.

Experts held and chatted about the Texas rat snake, a 100-pound turtle and the Mexican Mole Lizard and lots of other animals.  The turtle and lizard were featured on NBC 5 Saturday Today at 6am. There were also native venomous snakes and some exotic species as well.
