Update on Trooper-Involved Shooting

A man who approached DPS Special Agents while armed with a handgun is in serious condition after being shot Tuesday morning. Lt. Lonny Haschel, with the Texas Department of Public Safety, said the agents were in an unmarked van working a case at an apartment complex in the 9800 block of Adleta Boulevard when someone pulled up behind them in a SUV and boxed them in.
