TxDOT's Study of Interstate 30 Redo Will Consider Lowering Road, Prepping for a Deck Park

The Dallas Morning News has learned that the Texas Department of Transportation is starting a study on the costs of lowering Interstate 30, east of downtown and building a new deck park, similar to Klyde Warren Park.

The Texas Department of Transportation is getting ready to do one of its (famous? infamous?) environmental studies on renovating Interstate 30 east of downtown. This includes the raised portion that for decades has separated Fair Park from East Dallas and Deep Ellum.
