HS Principal Adopts Former Student and Helps Him Overcome Adversity

Fernando Martinez lost his mother when he was 14. Principal Dan Castillo stepped in first as guardian, then ultimately adopting Martinez. Martinez is now a freshman at Amarillo College planning to get a degree in business and marketing. MORE: MyHighPlains.com
