Texas Man Known as the ‘Ice Pick Killer' Executed

The Texas man known as the “Ice Pick Killer” was executed Wednesday for the 1979 rape and murder of a Houston woman. Danny Paul Bible gave no final statement before his execution Wednesday evening in Huntsville. Bible was sentenced to 25 years years in prison for the 1983 murder of a Palo Pinto County woman, but was paroled after serving eight years in prison under the now-defunct mandatory release laws.
