Summer Overload Forces Shelter to Euthanize Dozens of Pets

Summer is the busiest time of the year for the Dallas Animal Services. Up to 130 cats and dogs are brought in daily, and the shelter has to euthanize 50-60 animals a day. Shelter workers say they’re overwhelmed but are trying to think positively. They’re urging pet lovers to consider adopting especially during these crucial months.
