State of Mind: Veteran Explains What PTSD Looks Like to Him

Jeremiah Dee served in the military for ten years, working as a mechanic on Black Hawk helicopters. When two of those helicopters crashed in Mosul, Iraq, Dee was called in to help take it apart. That included removing some of the crash victims’ bodies, some of those victims he knew personally. He said that was the moment that caused his post traumatic stress disorder, but it was several years after he came home that it brought his life to a halt. Dee shared what PTSD looks like to him.
