Southwest Plane Skids Off Pavement at Orlando Airport

There are no known injuries after a Southwest Airlines jet went off the pavement and became stuck Tuesday evening at Orlando International Airport.

The Boeing 737, with no passengers on board, was being driven to a maintenance hangar when it went off the pathway.

The nose gear collapsed, and the aircraft became immobile.

The airport closed one of its runways while crews worked to remove the plane.

Further details have not been released, and a request for comment from the Dallas-based airline has not been immediately returned.
