Small Fire Triggers Sprinklers at Houston's Bush Airport

A small fire in a terminal at Bush Intercontinental Airport activated the terminal's sprinkler system.

Houston police told the Houston Chronicle that the fire started before 4 a.m. Friday in Terminal E, which serves United Airlines.

Firefighters told KPRC a battery charger may have caused it.

No one was hurt.

An airport spokesman said all operations were normal and flights weren't affected.
